DAY 5: 101 / Xiangshan (elephant mountain) / Dalongdong Baoan Temple / Shilin Night market

Today was our typical tourist day in Taipei. First off we ubiked to Taipei 101.  I have to say… being in an elevator that goes from 0 to 382 meters in 37 seconds was a crazy and thrilling experience! The Taipei 101 used to be the tallest building in the world but now its the 5th. Hope you enjoy the panorama faces. Afterwards we picked up some lunch in the food court on the ground floor. Yummy kitsune udon w/ tempura and sweet potato croquette! That fueled us to the top of elephant mountain! The view was breath taking! Afterwards we had a look at one of the most beautiful temples in Taiwan and ended up at Shilin night market for dinner. Of course… stinky tofu and Taiwan beer … is there any better way to end the day? 😉
