DAY 17: Taitung to Tainan / Confucius temple / 酒河豚 Japanese Restaraunt

Well our Air BnB room in Taitung turned out to be run down Hotel room at the melody hotel! Not sure about all the safety and earthquake codes in this 12 story building but the breakfast was the bomb! Sesame dandan noodles with cucumber and grated raw garlic, pickled blanched potatos and so much more! The train ride to Tainan was beautiful! Despite being 30 degrees Celsius we headed out and  found an amazing coffee place. The girl working there was so nice and sweet she even gave us presents to take with us when we left.  We then walked to confucius temple; the oldest Temple in Taiwan. After walking around in the heat we discovered a great Japanese place around the corner. The food was insanely good!!!
